Social support, affectivity, and the quality of life of patients and their support-givers prior to stem cell transplantation.

摘要: Abstract Purpose: To determine differences and interdependencies between patients their support-givers prior to PBSCT. Method: Patients principal completed the Illness-Specific Social Support Scale (ISSS), Profile of Mood States, EORTC QLQ-C30. Results: One hundred fifty-five 200 eligible replied. They nominated spouse/partner (70.6%), friends, children as support source. receiving social from spouses reported a better HRQoL than who other persons source support. perceived more positive (p < .01) problematic .05) interactions support-givers.
