摘要: An acute allergic reaction in a 5-year-old healthy male, after receiving midazolam by intranasal atomizer for sedation purposes the dental clinic, was reported. Shortly provided, child developed urticaria both ankles, which rapidly progressed to lower extremities, stomach, back, arms, neck, and face. The periorbital skin also became edematous. In emergency room, diagnosis of an confirmed. treated with intramuscular diphenylhydramine, discharged from room 5 hours, prescribed oral diphenylhydramine (Benadryl) prednisolone (Orapred).
