摘要: Resveratrol (RES), chemically known as 3,5,4'-trihydroxy-trans-stilbene, is a promising multi-targeted anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory natural polyphenol. Preclinical studies showed its biological activities against the pathogens of sexually transmitted diseases causing vaginal inflammation infections. Due to low solubility poor bioavailability, optimal therapeutic uses are limited. Therefore, clinically acceptable topical formulation RES exhibiting effects highly desirable. For this purpose, we prepared optimized chitosan-coated liposomes with RES. The coated vesicles (mean diameter 200nm) entrapped up 77% RES, sufficient load assure required outcome. In vitro drug release study ability provide sustained namely DPPH ABTS(•+) radicals scavenging assays, confirmed be potent standard anti-oxidants, vitamins C E. corresponding liposomal were also compared by measuring enhanced superoxide dismutase (SOD) in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced J774A.1 cells. nitric oxide (NO), tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α interleukin (IL)-1β production LPS-induced Liposomal was found exhibit stronger than solution.
