High-Frequency Induction Heating Sintering of Hydroxyapatite-(Zro2+3%Mol Y2o3) Bioceramics

摘要: In this study, hydroxyapatite (HAp) and hydroxyapatite-yttria stabilized zirconia (HAp- 3YSZ) with 20 vol. %– (ZrO2+3 %mol Y2O3) nanopowders were consolidated very rapidly to full density by High-frequency induction heat sintering (HFIHS). Effects of temperature the addition 3YSZ on toughness, hardness microstructure properties have been studied. second phase toughening HAp composites higher toughness successfully developed at relatively low temperatures through technique. The samples densified heating a in range 900 1200 °C, then cooled 500 °C within short time. A relative up 98.6 % theoretical was achieved after 1100 °C. Compared obtained for pure HAp, HAp-20vol. much higher.
