摘要: Partial discharge (PD) degradation was investigated to compare polyamide nanocomposites with two kinds of microcomposites. Such materials were exposed PDs under the IEC(b) electrode configuration for evaluation PD resistance. Comparisons made as surface roughness using a scanning electron microscope, an atomic force and mechanical profilometer. It is concluded that nanocomposite more resistant than microcomposites, nano-effects would work against degradation. The include filler-matrix bonding, inter-filler space, morphology, mesoscopic interaction.
