Electro-thermal aging tests on different kinds of enamelled wires

摘要: Considering the great importance of degradation phenomena acting on insulating materials inductor motor windings supplied by inverter drives based IGBT behaviour different kinds organic enamels have been investigated. During research activity, twisted pair specimens realized and subjected to severe voltage waveforms having peak amplitudes higher than partial discharge inception level. Therefore all tests, performed in presence discharges carried out hosting inside an oven, so apply synergic effect thermal stress enamel degradation. The breakdown condition has selected as end-point criterion. Two considered: a reference conventional non corona resistant nano-filled enamel. Analyzing comparing obtained results it possible highlight behaviours two enamelled wires.
