摘要: A number of tumor-associated genes have been associated with gastric cancer development. The present study evaluated differences in protein expression and phenotype among early neoplasms, correlated these data those the background mucosa. activation-induced cytidine deaminase (AID), p53 MLH1 151 neoplasms [22 adenomas, 92 intramucosal carcinomas (MCs), 37 submucosal (SMCs)] was examined immunohistochemically compared that corresponding mucosal condition. cellular phenotypes intestinal metaplasia were also determined. Aberrant AID, detected 36.4, 0 0% 35.9, 32.6 16.3% MCs, 56.8, 62.2 21.6% SMCs, respectively. frequency aberrant AID SMCs significantly increased MCs (AID, P<0.05; p53, P<0.01). overexpression (P<0.01), but not adenomas or MCs. In addition, severity mononuclear cell activity non-cancerous mucosa adjacent to tumor (P<0.05), particularly SMC cases. percentage (34.8%) (24.3%) higher (18.2%). These results indicated a may be important for carcinogenesis, chronic inflammation are progression.
