摘要: Recent measurements are presented of F-region ion drifts made at Arecibo using a new continuous beamswinging technique. The applied to the question origin electric field over Arecibo. It is shown that daytime fields probably caused by E-region tidal winds, while nighttime appear be generated in F region itself thermospheric winds.
