摘要: Raman excitation profiles for nine vibrational modes of the solvatochromic dye betaine-30 have been measured in CH3CN and CD3CN solution at wavelengths that span S0→S1 charge transfer transition. Though absorption spectra are same protonated deuterated forms solvent, cross sections all were found to be lower than CH3CN. Wave packet theory has applied model profiles, using a solvent dephasing which accounts bimodal dynamics. The isotope effect on intensities is interpreted terms different amplitudes fast response solvents, possible coupling low-frequency solute modes. reorganization energy greatly exceeds due internal betaine-30, most torsional solute.
