摘要: In this investigation the postbuckling response of an unbraced rectangular three-bar frame subjected to a vertical concentrated load at its joint is discussed on basis energy (variational) approach and nonlinear kinematic relations. It found that sway-buckling mode perfect associated with symmetric unstable bifurcation point which degenerates into limit when small initial imperfections are present. The effects loading eccentricity, slenderness ratio, moment inertia length ratios carrying capacity fully assessed.
