摘要: BACKGROUND Sleep disorders and disturbances are generally underestimated in patients with epilepsy. The aim of this study is to determine the frequency sleep comorbidity people epilepsy without any complaints about their relation sudden unexplained death (SUDEP) risk. METHODS presence were assessed 4 questionnaires 139 Subjective features evaluated Pittsburgh Quality Index (PSQI), Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS), Berlin Questionnaire for apnea, restless legs syndrome International Restless Legs Syndrome Study Group (IRLSSG) severity scale. rapid eye movement/nonrapid movement parasomnia was asked relatives who share same house. patients' SUDEP-7 scores also determined associations problems investigated statistically. RESULTS Ninety-two focal 47 generalized after consent. daily quality poor 34 (24.5%) PSQI. Daily sleepiness present 7 (5%) ESS. Twenty-five (18%) had severe apnea risk Questionnaire. Mild or RLS detected 24 (17.2%). There no significant differences between groups' scores. No statistically relationship identified sleep-related disorders. CONCLUSION Our results emphasized a remarkable magnitude epilepsy, even those do not have sleep. As SUDEP cases frequently seen during sleep, it important evaluate
