摘要: Real-time Blade Tip Timing (BTT) in rotating machinery enables condition-based maintenance and blade failure prevention. In this paper, we propose a new 6 GHz microwave sensing system suitable for BTT gas steam turbines. The working principle is similar to the short range radar technique, using probes mounted turbine wall, direct view of passing blades. front end consists miniature open-ended coaxial resonator sealed by ceramic cap. Its operation simple robust, thus well-suited harsh environment, while radiated TEM mode allows insensitivity mounting orientation. probe was validated through simulation prototypes were successfully tested. Measurements on showed improved spatial resolution waveform compared an existing patch antenna probe, superior measurement Eddy current used BTT.
