摘要: The impact of wheat diversity on the productivity in China is examined using total factor (TFP) and an instrumental variable approach. TFP seven key wheat-producing provinces shows significant, though variable, growth for all during period 1982-1995. Analysis causes tests alternative taxonomies (named varieties morphological groups) three measures diversity. analysis significant effects with results consistent across Further decomposition estimation confirms relative magnitude growth.
