摘要: In the last decades many efforts have been devoted to design supramolecular organocatalysts able work in water as reaction medium. The use of solvent provides promising benefits with respect environmental impact. this context, macrocyclic compounds played a role primary importance thanks their ease synthesis and molecular recognition abilities toward reactants. aim review is give an overview recent advances field organocatalysis water, focusing attention on calixarene cyclodextrins derivatives. Calixarenes cyclodextrins, hydrophobic cavities, are host selectively substrates isolating they from environment. addition, synthetic versatilities these macrocycles permits introduce useful functional groups close proximity binding sites. Regarding (CDs), we here reviewed most uses for heterocyclic compounds, multi-component reactions carbon-carbon bond forming reactions. Examples reported which CD catalysts drive regiochemistry common organic bearing catalytically active chiral groups, shown excellent enantioselectivity catalysis Recently results that derivatives accelerate under "on-water" conditions significant selectivity Under "on-water conditions" effect, induced by insoluble derivatives, forces reactants catalyst aggregate thus accelerating between them amplification weak secondary interactions. water-soluble organocatalysts, acceleration
