摘要: The International Society for Fracture Repair convened a multidisciplinary workshop to assess the current evidence around interaction between anti-osteoporosis drugs and healing of incident fractures, with view making recommendations clinical practice. consensus was that there is no evidence-based reason withhold anti-resorptive therapy while fracture heals, whether or not patient taking such when occurred. also considered existing models service provision secondary prevention concluded essential ingredient reliable delivery inclusion dedicated coordinator role. Several unresolved issues were defined as subjects further research, including question continuous long-term administration anti-resorptives may impair bone quality. rapidly changing area requires re-assessment their in near future.
