摘要: Abstract This pilot study investigates the existence of seasonal movements sheep – transhumance in Iron Age Catalonia (North-Eastern Spain). The occurrence movement livestock between coast and interior, perhaps relation to Mediterranean market, was suggested for this area based on landscape palynological studies. hypothesis tested basis strontium, carbon oxygen isotope analysis from seven lower third molars. evidence obtained suggests that animals did not move across geological areas during time enamel mineralization. In addition, paper provides valuable isotopic can be used further
