摘要: Increased irrigation in the Neishaboor watershed, Iran, during last few decades has caused serious groundwater depletion, making development of comprehensive mitigation strategies and tools increasingly important. In this study, SWAT MODFLOW were employed to integratively simulate surface-water flows. iteratively executed compute spatial temporal distributions hydrologic components. The combined SWAT-MODFLOW model was calibrated (2000–2010) validated (2010–2012) based on streamflow, wheat yield, extraction, groundwater-level data. This multi-criteria calibration procedure provided greater confidence for partitioning water between soil storage, actual evapotranspiration, aquifer recharge. satisfactory predictions budget watershed outlet. It also good irrigated yield extraction. 10-year mean annual recharge rate estimated using varied greatly, ranging from 0 960 mm, with an average 176 mm. result showed agreement independently earlier study. provides a robust tool sustainable planning management resources areas stressed aquifers where interaction surface cannot be easily assessed.
