摘要: Abstract Aims Surgical treatment of obstructed defecation (OD) carries frequent recurrences. The aim the study was to evaluate role dynamic magnetic resonance imaging defecography, and elucidate underlying anatomic pathophysiologic background pelvic floor disorders in these patients order minimize failures. Patients methods Forty consecutive constipated with OD symptoms (31 females) mean age 48.15±14.29 years. They underwent perineal examination, proctoscopy, anorectal manometry Dynamic MRI defecography. different morphology recorded. type outcome whether conservative or surgical were also Results showed 23 descending perineum, 32 rectoceles (28 females), 12 cystoceles (10 6 enteroceles (4 18 intussusceptions (14 females), 7 dyskinetic puborectalis muscle (3 females). diagnosis combined defecography consistent clinical results 70% there additional diagnostic parameters 30% patients. findings changed decision 8 20% performed 25 (8 stappled trans-anal rectal resection, 11 Delorme's, trans-abdominal repair), 15 Conclusions represents a convenient procedure females lesser extent males, especially terms organs during defecation. In addition assessment, had impact interdisciplinary treatment.
