摘要: Agar diffusion testing was used with four different media to evaluate the antibacterial activity of six products (one conventional glass-ionomer cement (GIC), two light-activated glass-ionomers, polyacid-modified resin composites and one composite) on Streptoccoccus mutans. Their respective activities were also compared during after setting. The relationship between product acidity evaluated. All GICs demonstrated properties in contrast composite which did not shown any effects. Vitrebond GIC exhibited higher action, probably because a cytotoxic photo-initiator diphenyliodoniumchloride. A direct material growth inhibition S. mutans observed.
