摘要: The purpose of this study was to assess the potential for rapid acquisition computed axial tomography (Imatron C-100) quantify regional myocardial perfusion. Myocardial and left ventricular cavity contrast clearance curves were constructed after injecting nonionic (1 ml/kg over 2 3 seconds) into inferior vena cava six anesthetized, closed chest dogs (n = 14). Independent perfusion measurements obtained by coincident injection radiolabeled microspheres atrium during control, intermediate maximal vasodilation with adenosine (0.5 1.0 mg/kg per min, intravenously, respectively). At each flow state, 40 serial short-axis scans ventricle taken near end-diastole at midpapillary muscle leyei. Contrast generated analyzed from posterior papillary regions excluding recirculation minimizing partial volume effects. area under curve (gamma variate function) determined a region interest placed within cavity. Characteristics data that evaluated included peak opacification, time defined full width/half extent curve. (microspheres) ranged 35 450 ml/100 g min (mean 167 ± 125). Two algorithms derived characteristics showed good correlation microspheres: 1) ratio opacification baseline (r 0.7, p In conclusion, indices these correlated well in dog as assessed microspheres. This approach offers promise quantitation reserve patients.
