摘要: CT has revolutionised body imaging over the past 20 years but had surprisingly little impact on cardiac diagnosis. Acquisition times are long relative to length of cycle, with motion reconstruction artefacts severely degrading image quality. Despite progressive reductions in exposure time and development slip ring technology, potential for anatomical functional heart never been fully realised.
