摘要: Abstract The room temperature deformation behavior of wrought polycrystalline uranium is studied using a combination experimental techniques and polycrystal modeling. Electron backscatter diffraction used to analyze the primary twinning modes for alpha-uranium. {1 3 0}〈3 1 0〉 mode found be most prominent mode, with minor contributions from ‘{1 7 2}’〈3 1 2〉 {1 1 2}‘〈3 7 2〉’ twin modes. Because large number modes, each limited systems, model employed identify quantify activity mode. Model predictions texture development agree reasonably well measures provide reliable information about systems.
