Inductively-loaded RF MEMS reconfigurable filters

摘要: This article presents an inductively loaded radio frequency (RF) microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) reconfigurable filter with spurious suppression implemented using packaged metal-contact switches. Both simulation and measurement results show a two-state, two-pole 5p tuning range of 17p from 1.06 GHz to 1.23 GHz, insertion loss 1.56–2.28 dB return better than 13 over the range. The passband response in both states is suppressed below -20 dB. unloaded Q changes 127 75 as tuned GHz. design full-wave two-bit RF MEMS tunable resonators monolithic switches also presented prove capability applying inductive-loading technique multibit filters. for 2.5 times improvement compared two-state due lower parasitics associated structure. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
