摘要: In eastern gamagrass (Tripsacum dactyloides) seeds, removal of the indurate cupule enclosing caryopsis resulted in relatively rapid and high levels germination regardless seed pretreatment across a wide range incubation temperatures during germination. Seeds incubated at room with cupules removed had 58%-86% germination, compared 10%-26% for seeds cupules. Enriched 5% CO2 either no effect on response under ambient CO2, or was enhanced as function treatment conditions source. Annual production estimated to be ca. 412/m2.
