摘要: The advantages afforded by the symmetrical C(V) characteristics of Heterostructure Barrier Varactor (HBV) diodes for fabrication nonlinear metamaterials are investigated numerically. studies conducted means full-wave numerical modelling along with circuit analysis. It is believed that HBV technologies can replace conventional Schottky diode not only in up and down frequency conversion left-handed devices, but also bringing new functionality terms space filtering unbiased devices. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
