摘要: Commercial websites offer many items to potential site users. However, most current display results of a search in text lists, or as lists sorted on one two single criteria. Finding the best item in list based multi-priority criteria is an exhausting task, especially for long lists. Visualizing search and enabling users perceive the tradeoffs among multiple priorities may ease this process. To investigate this, different techniques displaying sorting are studied paper; Text, XY Iconic Visualization. The goal determine which technique representing would be efficient website user. We conducted user study compare usability techniques. Collected data form participants' task responses, satisfaction questionnaire, qualitative observations, participants' comments. According the results, iconic visualization better overview (it gives good short amount time) with more than criteria, while text-based performs details.
