摘要: The open circuit potential, capacitance and resistance techniques were used to investigate the behaviour of two types surface zirconium oxides in pure 0.5 N H2SO4 presence additives K2CrO4, KI, FeSO4 HCOOH. The air-formed preimmersion oxide film grows all solutions following a logarithmic rate law. Depending on nature additive directly by oxidation oxidizing (K2CrO4) or indirectly mediating atmospheric oxygen reducing additives. Anodically formed films dissolve solutions. results impedance measurements indicate that adsorption HCOOH activates owing, possibly, its hydrophilic while iodide diminishes reactivity active sites (probably vacanies) where dissolution process is initiated.
