摘要: Orf virus is a DNA that causes contiguous ecthyma in goat and sheep. Infection of animals with this cause high mortality young resulting huge economic losses. In study, we investigated an outbreak farm Malaysia. Samples were collected from infected viral isolation was done using both LT MDCK cell lines. Molecular detection by conventional PCR for specific primers; B2L F1L genes phylogenetic analysis on the sequence data obtained. Cytopathic effects (CPE) observed lines after 3 days inoculation 50 % sixth day. showed positive bands Malaysian strain had close homology to Chinese Indian isolates. This study gives more insight into existing strains Malaysia their relationship other globally.
