Evolution of hepatitis B vaccine coverage rates in France between 2008 and 2011

摘要: Abstract High vaccine coverage rates were reached for hepatitis B vaccination in teenagers nearly two decades ago (1995), but controversy sharply decreased the rate of France, requiring high remobilization its favor and careful monitoring rates. We report results Vaccinoscopie® survey which has monitored yearly evolution since 2008. Method A representative national sample 5250 mothers was recruited 2011: 3000 infants (1000 each following age range: 0–11 months, 12–23 24–35 months age) 2250 teenagers. They all answered a self-administered questionnaire on Internet reported vaccinations included their child's health record. Results In 2011, 82.4% (CI 95%: 77.6–87.1) 6–8 given before six 71.9% 66.3–77.5) children 24–26 fully immunized 24 age. France should reach objectives thanks to hexavalent vaccine, this is not case at 14–16 years age, only 55.4% 53.3–57.4) had started schedule 37.4% 35.4–39.4) vaccinated. Conclusion This recent data, specially concerning teenagers, lead corrective measures rapidly targets vaccination.
