摘要: Abstract Navigating vast information spaces through mobile interfaces has become a common activity in older adults' everyday lives. Studies suggested that interface metaphors could be used to facilitate users' metal model development and processing when using technologies. However, we know little about how affect navigation behavior, which user characteristics matter during this perceptual cognitive process. To investigate this, card with 3D metaphor list without were compared among twenty-two participants performing four tasks. User including demographic factors, technology experience, capabilities examined. The participants' performance subjective evaluations measured as the dependent variables. From results, recommend beneficial choice for adults. It performed better performance, although differences are not statistically significant. Moreover, was significantly associated speed, thus may more sensitive capability declines. Valuable insights into adults’ preferences discussed important implications design of proposed based on results. Relevance industry experimental results propose way present contents adults provide valuable designers help them understand usage perceptions towards application navigating interfaces.
