摘要: An optical element is provided having a durable abrasion-resistant, antifog coating applied to at least one surface thereof by an comprised of inorganic or organic transparent base with abrasion-resistant consisting lightly cross-linked polyvinyl alcohol, the desired degree cross-linking being obtained utilizing combination zirconium nitrate and formaldehyde as agents.
