Application of life cycle assessment to improve the environmental performance of a ceramic tile packaging system

摘要: The overall goal of this study was to evaluate the environmental performance process currently used package and palletize ceramic floor wall tiles, propose analyse improvements from an point view. After developing a life cycle inventory primary tertiary packaging, assessment applied according mandatory optional elements ISO 14042. results are presented in three parts: first quantifies behaviour current packaging system, second examines strategies focused on minimizing burdens such critical elements, third improvements, compared with initial situation, that obtained application each improvement. simultaneous incorporation all proposed into system can reduce impact within 18–45% range, depending method is applied.
