摘要: Children with special healthcare needs (CSHCN) may experience distress during dental appointments and be unable to cooperate for treatment in the traditional setting. Protective stabilization, or temporary restrictive behavior management, needed routine oral hygiene visits. The issue of restraint any type is controversial due improper use controlling general behavior. Oral health providers caring these patients must understand historical context intellectual disability community as well international perspectives. dentist consider indications contraindications, especially medical considerations, ensure informed consent before carrying out care. Proper selection application protective techniques essential safety.
