摘要: We present a simple model for an evolving radio galaxy as it expands into the hot, X-ray-emitting interstellar medium (ISM) of its host or similarly hot intracluster (ICM) cluster. solve governing equations numerically on grid parameters in order to analytical tools X-ray observations shocked shell that is pushed out by cocoon and associated cavity cluster emission. apply these well-known example Perseus A show time-averaged kinetic luminosity probably exceeds 1046 ergs s-1, much larger than estimated current power. how future can be used extract useful source such average power age, discuss detectability sources at various stages their lives.
