摘要: Abstract Extremely slow phase transition from form II to I has been the greatest bottleneck of isotactic polybutene-1 preventing its extensive applications. In past decade, although various methods were proposed, acceleration for was limited. High pressure seems be a potential approach but is regarded impractical, because earlier studies claimed that accelerate needed over 90 MPa, which too high real processing. The could overestimated higher temperature employed, therefore, it necessary investigate pressure-induced again. Surprisingly, found at room temperature, inducing fast actually does not need such high. As low as 0.7 MPa, effect appears. At 2 MPa or higher, can completed within 5 min. This means totally transform in processing process only if applying slightly pressure. study provides simple and effective method settle long-standing problem persecuting academic world industrial polybutene-1.
