摘要: BACKGROUND Cysticercus tenuicollis (larvae of Taenia hydatigena) is a frequent cosmopolitan endoparasite ruminants. The infestation by this parasite underestimated since it neither zoonotic nor inducing high economic losses in the sheep sector. METHODS This study aimed at estimating different parasitological indicators, small ruminants using slaughterhouse-based survey Northeast Tunisia. A total number 3,692 and 78 goats were examined slaughterhouse Menzel Temime. RESULTS overall prevalence was estimated to be 2.8 (106/3692) 8.9% (7/78) goats, respectively. abundance these two species 0.24 0.05 intensity 1.97 2.85, In all cysts found mesentery, whilst, sheep, majority mesentery (96%) but also on liver 2% cases both organs (2%).
