摘要: Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) reinforced Si2BC3N ceramics were prepared through mechanical alloying (MA) and following spark plasma sintering (SPS). The thermal shock resistance of was evaluated comparatively ice water quenching test theoretical prediction. Furthermore, the oxidation MWCNTs incorporated under high temperature. results show that calculated parameters such as critical temperature (R) stresses (Rst), well toughness (R″″) are improved with addition 1 vol% MWCNTs. In addition, crack propagation is obviously generating more tortuous paths attributing to “crack bridging”, “pull-out”, deflection” mechanisms Therefore, residual strengths containing specimens remained highest after tests. Besides, present work also reveals sensitive relative density than addition.
