摘要: A method for purification of a carotene-containing concentrate by chromatography in which liquid con­taining is fed to filler adsorb the on and carotene component subsequently eluted collected feeding an eluant filler. The silica gel or activated alumina pre-treated with polar solvent selected from acetone, C₁-C₅ alcohols, C₁-C₃ alkyl esters acetic acid, acetonitrile, dioxane, diethyl ether mixtures thereof non-polar C₅-C₂₀ hydrocarbons, carbon tetrachloride, disulfide used as filler, mixture above-mentioned nonpolar containing 0.005% 5.0% weight eluant.
