Toxicity of insecticides and acaricides to the predatory mite Neoseiulus californicus (McGregor) (Acari: Phytoseiidae)

摘要: This study determined the side effects of a selection pesticides on eggs, nymphs and adults predatory mite Neoseiulus californicus. It assessed acaricides spirodiclofen, cyhexatin, hexythiazox clofentezine; insecticides indoxacarb, chlorantraniliprole, diflubenzuron pyriproxyfen; insecticide/acaricides abamectin spiromesifen. A spray tower-leaf disk method was used to determine N. Three doses each pesticide were applied: field application dose (T), half (T/2) double (2T). Dead–live counts made at days 1, 3, 5 7 after application. Daily observations during egg applications observe whether eggs hatching. None pesticides, except for hexythiazox, showed any effect mites.
