摘要: Abstract Action spectra were determined for neoplastic transformation, production of pyrimidine dimers, and lethality in Syrian hamster embryo cells. Of wavelengths between 240 313 nm, the most effective 265 270. The relative sensitivities per quantum dimer production, essentially same at each tested. This action spectrum which is relevant to carcinogenesis, similar obtained previously by measuring other cellular responses either microbial or mammalian systems. Because cytotoxicity transformation are as DNA suggested target all these processes.
