摘要: Background Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) is frequently co-morbid with major depression (MDD), and this becomes more so when the duration requirement relaxed. Both diagnoses anxious symptoms are common in both unipolar bipolar depression. This paper explores relationship between GAD depression. Method MDD (BPD) compared three important respects: extent of their co-morbidity GAD, effects that has on outcome MDD BPD, probability suicide each disorder. Results Anxious occur association depressive disorders, albeit to a different various subtypes In affects makes suicidal thoughts, completed likely. Conclusions Anxious phenomena should be assessed whenever diagnosed. It likely raised expectancy related an individual's premorbid level negative affect, it possible subthreshold hypomanic symptoms.
