摘要: Sphingomyelin is a phospholipid that preferentially located in the outer leaflet of plasma membrane mammalian cells. It can be hydrolysed by three distinct isoforms phospholipase C (PLC)-like enzyme, sphingomyelinase, which are distinguished their pH optima and Mg2+-dependence. Activation sphingomyelinase occurs response to stimulation number cell-surface receptors variety biological agonists, such as cytokines growth factors [l]. Several metabolites sphingomyelin have been identified potential second-messenger molecules.
