摘要: The principal materials used are briefly discussed. A general approach becomes possible through a description of their 'mechanical spectrum'. Friction polymers depends mainly on viscoelastic response. Wear plastics is also closely related to ultimate properties, but that conventional rubbers complicated by the superposition chemical changes. Polymers and compounded can corrode abrade even hard metals. designer bearings has still rely qualitative information; recent work for gears, however, yielded useful design data.
