Recovery of Clean Coal from Washery Rejects by Flotation

摘要: Attempts have been made to recover the additional clean coal from rejects generated by heavy media bath of a coking washery in Eastern India. As received sample contains around 18.68 % volatile matter, 43.24 % ash and 38.08 % fixed carbon on dry basis. Beneficiation study conventional cell flotation has carried out examine possibility reducing content sample. But liberation is required before subjecting any separation process. The reject ground different particle size separated froth flotation. An attempt systematically analyse factors influencing process using technique statistical design experiments. Studies conducted at operating conditions. It possible get with 19.68 % 32.45 % yield 45.57 % combustible recovery ash.
