摘要: Summary Background Yellow nail syndrome (YNS) is characterized by the triad of characteristic changes, chronic respiratory disorders and primary lymphoedema. Over 100 cases have been published, most which sporadic. Despite this, YNS classified as a dominantly inherited lymphoedema with variable expression. There only few published reports where positive family history (FH) has documented in YNS. Objectives To conduct retrospective survey investigating genetic basis YNS. Methods The notes 11 patients diagnosed were examined for documentation FH, addition postal questionnaire was sent to these patients. Results Only one had relevant FH. In addition, four complete recovery their changes. Conclusions This first study document clear remission changes. lack FH majority our study, late onset disease changes suggest that may not be primarily it currently classified.
