摘要: A Gram-stain-negative and strictly aerobic bacterium, designated DMHB-2T, was isolated from a sample of seawater collected off the Yellow Sea coast Republic Korea. Cells were short rods motile by means single polar flagellum. Catalase oxidase activities positive. Growth occurred at pH 5.5–10.0 (optimum, 6.0), 15–45 °C 25 °C) with 1–9 % NaCl 3 %). The respiratory quinone ubiquinone-8 major fatty acids C16 : 0 (17.9 %), summed feature 3 (C16 : 1 ω7c and/or C16 : 1 ω6c; 26.1 %) 8 (C18 : 1 ω7c C18 : 1 ω6c; 37.4 %). Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences revealed that strain DMHB-2T belong to genus Marinobacterium , highest sequence similarity 95.2 % Marinobacterium zhoushanense KCTC 42782T. genomic DNA G+C content 60.8 mol%. On basis phenotypic, chemotaxonomic genotypic characteristics presented in this study, is suggested represent novel species for which name Marinobacterium boryeongense sp. nov. proposed. type (=KACC 19225T=JCM 31902T).
