摘要: Objectives: This paper is part of a larger study examining the impact mothers’ having regular source dental care (RSDC) on utilization and oral health their preschool children. We describe levels satisfaction with among mothers whose children were enrolled in Medicaid Washington State. report related to RSDC by type setting/office. Methods: Disproportionate stratified sampling racial/ethnic group selected 11 305 aged 3–6 Mothers (n = 4373) completed mixed-mode survey. Satisfaction was measured using Dental Questionnaire (DSQ). Results: Overall mean DSQ 57.1 ± 9.9 (range 18–89). A higher score indicates greater satisfaction. There not evidence difference dissatisfaction race/ethnicity but Blacks Hispanics less satisfied pain management than Whites. The majority respondents agreed statement that ‘Dentists sometimes act rude patients.’ for who have private dentist they see consistently versus through public or non-profit clinic. Conclusions: this population low, considerably lower found other studies primary medical care. Steps need be taken increase access clinics, perceived quality both clinics public/non-profits serving low-income populations.
