摘要: It has long been believed that the adult mammalian central nervous system does not regenerate after injury. However, recent advances in field of stem cell biology, including identification Musashi-1-positive neural cells (NSCs) or NSC-like cells, provided new insight for development novel therapeutic strategies aimed at inducing regeneration damaged (CNS). The major CNS can be classified into two subgroups: (1) activation endogenous and (2) transplantation therapies. In this paper, we would like to summarize our findings on functions RNA-binding protein Musashi-1 expressed relation insult-induced neurogenesis, interventions spinal cord injury, especially focusing treatment injury acute phase with anti-IL-6 receptor blocking antibody.
