摘要: The ability of a soil strain Bacillus subtilis harboring large plasmid, p19, to mobilize small staphylococcal pUB110, was studied. latter plasmid transferred the recipient cells subtilis168 at high frequency (about 10–2 per cell) both on filter surface and in liquid medium. Mobilization initiated 40 min after beginning contact between donor cells.
