摘要: The transfer of plasmids by mating from four Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies to anthracis and cereus recipients was monitored selecting transcipients which acquired plasmid pBC16 (Tcr). Transcipients also inherited a specific large each B. donor at high frequency along with random array smaller plasmids. (ca. 50 120 megadaltons), pXO13, pXO14, pXO15, pXO16, originating subsp. morrisoni, toumanoffi, alesti, israelensis, respectively, were demonstrated be responsible for mobilization. containing any the above had capability, while strains cured them not fertile, indicating that confer conjugation functions. Confirmation pXO16 self-transmissible obtained isolation fertile contained only one these pXO14 efficient in mobilizing toxin capsule plasmids, pXO1 pXO2, plasmid-cured or recipients. DNA-DNA hybridization experiments suggested DNA homology exists among conjugative pXO11 pXO12. Matings performed between same reduced efficiency transfer. However, many instances when recipient different appeared enhanced.
